NAMAZ TIME
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
NAMAZ TIME (“NAMAZ TIME”, “we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an Android application designed to help users stay focused during prayer by providing prayer reminders, user-configured prayer times, selected-app protection, and prayer history.
This Privacy Policy explains what information NAMAZ TIME accesses, how it is used, how it is stored, and when information is shared.
1. Information We Collect
NAMAZ TIME does not require you to create an account and does not require you to provide your name, phone number, or email address to use the core application.
The current version of NAMAZ TIME is designed to keep the following information locally on your Android device:
- Prayer times and prayer settings you configure
- Notification preferences
- Apps you select for protection during prayer
- Prayer history and prayer status
- Local app settings and preferences
NAMAZ TIME does not intentionally upload this information to its own servers.
2. Accessibility Service
NAMAZ TIME uses Android’s Accessibility Service for its app-protection feature.
When you enable this feature, the service is used to detect when an application you selected for protection is opened during an active prayer period. NAMAZ TIME then uses this information to temporarily restrict access to the selected app and display the prayer lock experience.
The current implementation is configured to use window-state changes and does not retrieve window content.
NAMAZ TIME does not use Accessibility Service to read the contents of your messages, passwords, or personal screen content.
You can disable Accessibility access at any time from Android Settings.
3. Installed Applications
NAMAZ TIME allows you to choose which installed apps you want to protect during prayer.
The app may access the list of launchable applications on your Android device for the purpose of displaying this selection list.
Your selected application information is stored locally and is used only to provide the app-protection feature.
4. Prayer Times, Alarms and Notifications
NAMAZ TIME allows you to manually configure prayer times for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha.
The app uses Android’s local alarm and notification systems to provide reminders based on your configured prayer schedule.
These reminders are designed to work without an internet connection.
5. Location
The current version of NAMAZ TIME does not request Android location permission and does not collect your device’s location.
Prayer times are configured by the user.
6. Advertising and Analytics
NAMAZ TIME does not display advertisements.
NAMAZ TIME does not use advertising trackers, analytics services, or behavioral tracking in the current version.
7. Account Information
NAMAZ TIME does not require an account or login.
No account profile is created by NAMAZ TIME.
8. Sharing of Information
NAMAZ TIME does not sell or share your locally stored prayer settings, selected-app information, or prayer history with third parties for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
The current app does not intentionally transmit this information to NAMAZ TIME servers.
9. Internet and External Links
Core NAMAZ TIME functionality is designed to work without an internet connection.
The app includes an optional Support feature. If you choose to support NAMAZ TIME, the app opens the following Wise payment page in your device’s external web browser:
https://wise.com/pay/business/mohammedmusaib
Payment information is handled directly by Wise and is subject to Wise’s own privacy policy and terms. NAMAZ TIME does not collect or store your payment or banking information.
10. Data Storage
The app’s prayer settings, notification preferences, selected protected applications, onboarding state, and prayer history are stored locally on your Android device using local application storage.
NAMAZ TIME does not maintain a cloud account for this information in the current version.
11. Data Retention and Deletion
Because the core app data is stored locally on your device, NAMAZ TIME does not maintain a remote copy of your prayer history or selected-app settings.
You can remove locally stored information by using the deletion/clear-data options provided by the app where available, clearing the app’s Android data, or uninstalling NAMAZ TIME.
If future versions introduce cloud storage or accounts, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain those changes before they are introduced.
12. Data Security
NAMAZ TIME follows a data-minimization approach and requests only permissions needed for its features.
Locally stored application data is protected by Android’s application sandbox and operating-system security mechanisms.
No security measure can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to use appropriate safeguards for the information processed by the app.
13. Children’s Privacy
NAMAZ TIME is not specifically directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app’s functionality, permissions, or data practices change.
The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be updated whenever material changes are made.
